Conscious Travel: My Eco-Friendly Bali Experience

Bali has always been magical, but experiencing it sustainably? NEXT LEVEL amazing! 🌴

I stayed at this incredible bamboo villa that uses solar power and rainwater harvesting. According to the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (https://www.gstcouncil.org), accommodations like these reduce environmental impact by up to 40% compared to traditional hotels!

Instead of those touristy spots, I visited local communities where I learned traditional weaving techniques and bought directly from artisans. The textiles are GORGEOUS and knowing my money goes straight to the families makes them even more special.

For getting around, I rented a bamboo bicycle! Such a fun way to explore while keeping my carbon footprint low.

The best discovery? A zero-waste restaurant where everything—from the farm-to-table menu to the recycled glass tableware—was thoughtfully sourced.

Travel can be beautiful AND responsible. Who else is planning conscious adventures this year? 💚
